Triangle WLS Support Group ... July

Hi All -

Several of us are planning to go down to Wilmington over the July 28th weekend, but I was wondering if anyone wants to get together July 21st ... it's the 3rd weekend in July. If there is any interest, I'll be glad to arrange a meeting.

Also, if you would like to join us for some fun and comraderie in the sun, please let me know. Would love to have you join us.

I think that's great that you are taking the lead in wanting to do the support group leader training!  I know you will do well.  I wish I lived closer to you guys so that I could be a part of it too.    I am lucky to have a great support group thru my surgeon's office but there aren't that many people from there that post here and I feel like I've made some really good friends on this board.  Maybe one day I can get together with y'all and really meet everyone face to face!!  That would be awesome!

Barb, I'm not in town on the 21st but was wondering about hotel arrangements for the 28th. Wendy was talking about maybe all of us going in on a condo. That would put us all together and seems like a blast. Let me know what everyone has decided.  Jennifer

Barb- That's awesome that you are doing the OH Leadership training! You are a great inspiration and appear to be a natural leader.Go gurl!!! Have any of the Raleigh folks made actual reservations yet for Wilm? I posted the 4 possible lodging info- 2 sites for condos and then info on Microtel and the Drifter's Reef hotel. I have also gone out on a limb and asked a friend if her parents would consider renting their place at Carolina Beach ( they NEVER rent, but its worth the try). I cant wait to meet everyone. Heck - the pajama party may end up at my house- got 1 queen bed avalable and 2 twins and 1 sofa that sleeps wonderfully..... Take care, Sheila

I'd say we have 5 solid for the trip down. We don't have reservations yet, but as soon as I can get some commitments ... Wendy and I'll see about reservations ... somewhere :-)  I'm hoping we can take care of that by next week.

Hi Barb, I would love to meet everyone at the meeting on the 21st.  Any idea of a time or place yet?  I'm available any time before 2pm.  Would love to do the beach trip, will need to check on that and get back to you soon.
