WILMINGTON GET TOGETHER

Here's the 1st info on room rates at Carolina Beach- spoke to the lady at Microtel at Car.Beach today - double rates are $112/night with 13% tax- so basically $125/night- thus can be split 2 or 4 ways. She stressed this includes a free cont. breakfast! I had to laugh! Can imagine all the WLS friendly foods there.... Their number is 910-458-1300. Google them and check out the place- its 4 yrs old and clean, but NOT OCEANFRONT-if willing to spend the $$$ The Marriott at Car. Beach IS oceanfront. 2 other sources are www.vrbo.com and www.vacationrentals.com - can look at condos at both Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. Sheila,                   I Googled them and tried to reserve a room and it said the property is "sold out" for that date?? I will try one of the other options and see if I can find some prices. Thanks ~Sarah~

Sarah- I spoke to them at 4pm today and they had over 15 rooms available and a couple suites. I would suggest calling them. Sue Williamson is the owner ( an aunt of my neighbor's). So this Microtel is locally owned and operated. I found the website only helpful for the pictures...lol... Sheila
