I have A Surgery Date

It finally is going to happen. After almost three years I am scheduled to have gastric by pass RNY on August 1st 2007. I was so impressed with my Dr. and I even had lost 8lbs since March the intern the surgeon where all impressed with that and wanted to know what I had been doing. I told them I monitor every single thing that goes in my mouth. Also I have reduced my amount of food and have very little tolerance for meat except chicken and seafood and fill up on fruits and veggies I am excited and very determined to get through this.                                                   Annie

Annie, I am so happy for you. I just started this journey and got my official packet from the surgeon today. I have a date for a support group meeting and one for a informational meeting with him. I can't wait. Good luck. Beth

Hi Beth, I am happy that you got your welcome packet. Where do you live in NC. Just remember no matter how frustated you may or not get there is always light at the end hang in there.                    Annie
