worried again........
Carol -
Are you tracking your measurements? A number of people say that sometimes when the scale won't move, watch the tape measure. Keep working on it.
Feel free to call me ... just send me an email and I'll send you my phone number.
All the best,
Barb

Carol, You are so early in your "new life", have every confidence that it will work! I'm having the band so I don't know a lot about your eating requirements. But, it doesn't sound like you are getting enough protein in. All you can do is work on it, it's still pretty new and your body's adjusting. Sorry to hear about the hubby problems. If he told you that he would support you and he isn't - I would REMIND him of his pledge!
You have much support here! Lean on us, we're here for you! Contact me if you want to talk privately.

These stalls or plateaus, whatever you choose to call them, are NORMAL and expected! It is your body catching up with your weight loss. I love them because that is when I lose the most inches. I rely much more on my tape measure than I do a scale. Are you measuring? I carry my weight around the belly. I have lost 11 inches in my belly! The guy I've dated for 7 years is not supportive either. He doesn't even discuss it with me. If I discuss it with him, he'll pat me like a puppy and say "Well, that's nice honey." And never look up from the paper! LOL He's not mean about it, but at 280 lbs, he needs to lose weight and would never consider WLS. His only support is "Don't lose too fast or your skin is going to sag... blah blah blah.. Men are not always supportive. They are mostly into their own things. I had my weight loss surgery in March and we have discussed my progress maybe twice, at my initiation both times. My family thinks I have lost my mind having this surgery.. calling it drastic and rolling their eyes and shaking their heads. I know I'm on my own here and I'm ok with that. Besides, I have yall and what a blessing YOU have been to me and so many others. Hang in there Carol. It'll be ok. We love you!
Diane
