Thinking of re-locating to NC, any suggestions?
Another NYer here! I'm from the Buffalo area. We moved down here in "97. NY will always be "home" to me in my heart but, NC is wonderful and we would never dream of moving back. I go back a couple of times a year to visit family and friends (never in the winter LOL) Raleigh is a great area, it's in Wake Co. The school system for Wake Co. is one of the best in the state! Our kids attend a charter school - you'll have to learn about those. Cary, which you mentioned is also in Wake Co. and is very suburbia. It just depends on what your looking for. 20 miles outside Raleigh in just about every direction you can find many small quaint small towns.
