NC WLS Meetup???

Good Morning all my fellow OH NC Board Posters! both Pre- and Post-Ops!  (If that even makes sense)  We spend so much time here talking to each other and supporting each other.  Many times this is the only support that some have in their lives and it sustains us.  We are constantly posting about the approval process, which protein drink is the best, and how to over come pain and WL plateaus.  This is fabulous!  I came here for all those reasons, but I also came here to build lifelong friendships. I am curious to know, if anyone is interested in having a NC Message Board Meet up?  I know we are all over the state, but maybe we could have in the middle of the state?  (You lucky Charlotte people)  I would envision pre- and post- together for a fun, educational day. Any thoughts?

Would definately love that... I had posted about this before and got good responses...  Last July in Charlotte somebody opened their home up and invited everybody over... I was newly post-op and LOVED it... people brought some of their fav dishes and some brought clothes to exchange... it was a great time.

I am theone who hosted the Charlotte area gathering last July.  I am happy to do it again, and anybody--statewide--is welcome.  We have a large yard & deck so people could be inside or out.  I think a clothing swap is a great idea too.  I'd rather give my too big clothes to other WLS folks thatn to Goodwill.

Hello Roberta and All, Please count Gavin and myself in, we really enjoyed it last year. Would love to see you all again , this time we will have our new foster baby Dekarius he is 8 months old and a joy to us. Just give us a date we will be there. Allison
