Help Me! Need Some Tips

So I FINALLY get a call from the surgeon's office. I'm gonna just type the shrink's letter and have them sign it! Gotta hold that poor old man's hand. Can I get some tips as what went into your psych eval letters? Mine didn't make his long winded enough to suit... and that's all I need for them to sign off on! Insurance says approved pending this letter! I see them tomorrow, so this has to be done tonight. Any ideas would be great. Thanks muches!

Shawana, I'm so sorry that you are having to go thru all this stuff just to get approval.  I can't help you with the psych letter since I didn't even see what mine said -- they just sent it directly to the surgeon's office I guess.    That is just crazy!!!  I mean, what the heck are you paying them for if you have to go behind them and do their job???  That just doesn't make sense to me.  Anyway, I hope someone can help you with this and hopefully this will be the last thing you have to do to get your approval.  I know you are tired of waiting.

Hey girl....email me i have a list that I can email you. Normally they just want to see that "from a psych standpoint you are cleared for surgery." Email me though and I will try to help you out.

Girl you know I'm right there with you with this shrink crap. I have to call mine tomorrow to get him to write an addendum to his first letter before my surgery NEXT WEEK! Wish me luck and I'm sending some your way!                      .
