Hey everyone!  I recently moved to Clayton from New York and I have to say that I absolutely LOVE IT here!  What a beautiful state! I had my WLS in July, 2006 and so far have lost 81 pounds (I'd like to lose maybe 25 more).   I found a decent doctor which is good because I am B12 deficient and need monthly shots.   Nice to meet everyone!  :-)

Hi, Michelle,  Welcome to the Tar Heel state!  Glad you like it and could find a good doc here. You had surgery about the same time I did.  But, so far I haven't had any vitamin issues.  Take care of yourself, ok. Pam

Hi Michele- Welcome to NC! I'm also a transplanted NYer, originally from Cheektowaga (near Buffalo). What part of NY are you from? We moved down here in 97' and would never dream of leaving. Love NC!

Congratulation's on your weight loss that's a great accomplishment!

Thank you everyone!  I hope to become better acquainted with you all! I've fell off track since last week and gained 3 lbs!  This is the first time since my WLS that I gained and it sure it a wake-up call......I am going to be completely honest -- I haven't been watching what I eat (with the exception of sweets or dairy -- I get totally sick from them).  But I eat crap and I have been grazing all day.   This is what I typically eat on a given day: Breakfast -- Grande Mocha Frappachino (no whipped cream).  I am addicted to these. Lunch - Lean Cuisine or South Beach Diet frozen meals Dinner -- for protein, either a turkey/beef burger w/out the bun.  or 3oz of chicken.  1/2 cup of rice (either rice-a-roni or Zatarains red beans & rice). Snacks after dinner.....Ok, this is where I have a problem.  I'll have some chips.  Then, I'll have a Toffutti Cutie (it's a lactose-free mini ice cream sandwich).  I am so stuffed at this point and I start hating myself for doing it. I am so mad at myself......I don't want to be 270 lbs again.......why am I doing this!!!????
