Thanks for the very inspirational post! I wish everyone even remoting considering the surgery could read this. I am soooo happy for you and wish I could give you a big hug of love! Keep it up, you incredible shrinking woman! Karen

Thanks for the well wishes and the hug! They work in cyberspace too. It's amazing to me what feels possible now that didn't before. I can't wait to see what's next. Take care. ~Ellen

That is so wonderful! This is the fun part about the surgery. For me this whole thing is really about health, but its the closet where we can really see the changes.

This surgery is about a lot of things for me. I want to be healthy, but I'd be lying if I said that I didn't care about looking nicer. I want so much more out of life than I can have at 350+ pounds. I'm not saying that I didn't have a life then, but I wanted more. The evidence in the closet is so exciting, that's where you first get the proof that it is working. Take care. ~Ellen

Ellen- Yeah for you! You got rid of some old baggage. Out with the old in with the new! Keep up the good work. Now, I feel like I need to tackle my closet Wendy

Ellen - You truly are an inspiration! Congratulations on losing the pounds and the clothes. I'm sure that it must be an incredible feeling to see yourself "melting away." I'm still a bit aprehensive, but looking forward to my own surgery on June 5th. :agnst: I have been walking, going to Curves, drinking water, water, water, and changed my diet pre-op. I've lost about 20 lbs. so far and did my own closet clean out yesterday. I'm going to have to do a sort on it, but I've cleared out about 5 linear feet out of my closet ... either clothes I can't wear anymore or clothes I won't be able to wear next season (she says hopefully ...) I wish you all the best and continued success as you "work" towards your goal.
