ins help

i have bcbs and i need a arm lift- tummy tuck - inside thigh lift --breast lift and love handles done---i know it will not cover it all but i want to try to get as much covered as possible---i live in gastonia, nc ---need help with codes , what steps to take and what surgeon to go to that may can assist---thanks

First you need to start by checking your benefits... typically a panni (partial TT) is covered... I havent personally heard about anybody getting thigh or breast lift but have heard of arms... all depends on the benefits. If you find a surgeon that works with WLS patients they should know exactly what the insurance company requires. The ins co will need to see MEDICAL reasons you need this covered... notes from visits to Drs where youve complained about the excess skin... rashes, irritation, back pain... whatever the issue may be. If you dont have anything to support medically I would start ASAP... ever time you see a Dr make sure you mention something and they notate it in your chart.
