Surgery is tomorrow!

Just wanted to say "so long" til I come home from the hospital. Surgery is tomorrow. I have been asked if I am excited and the answer is "No." But I am not afraid either. I just want to get it over with and get on with my life. I have a great life. I want to feel up to it. I want to throw my diabetic medicines away. I want to donate my CPAP machine to charity. I want to have energy again. So if you are a pray-er---PRAY FOR ME! I want to be one of the blessed ones that come through this with no complications. I will talk to you as soon as I can. FYI: My surgery will be done by Dr. Wade Naziri at Pitt Memorial Hospital. God bless you all. Diane

Congratulations Diane! I am a "pray-er" and you will be on my list. I totally feel you on the excitement thing. No, I'm not "excited" either, I just want it done. What I am excited about is the life that I hope will follow. God has been good thus far, I know He will continue to be. Good luck and let us know how you are as soon as you can. ~Ellen

Good Luck Diane, I had my surgery on 11/21/06 and I am feeling great. I had no complications and still don't. I will pray for you and a quick recovery. Kelley

Diane, You got it, girl. You're in my prayers and prayer works! That's a great idea to donate the CPAP to charity. I never thought about it. That'll make (at least) two of them donated. I'm looking forward to hearing all about it. I'm right behind you. My date is 1-29. Karen
