Just wanting to know are you out their. Most of the post I have seen for NC OH members are for RNY. If so what have your experiences been with the Lap Band. Talk to me

Hi Hope, I know this forum is mostly RNY. There is a lapband forum and I know the link of another lap band group board I can send you privately. I was originally going to do Lap Band but the committment and maintence schedule would have stressed me out. Plus, they are a few hunderd dollars per fill. I think in the long run my RNY wille be cheaper and less stress. Right now, I'm healing from an internal hernia, but otherwise everything has been great.

Hi Amy. Not a bandster yet but am in the process.Just finished my preop testing yesterday as a matter of fact and hope to have surgery in the very near future. I have to get everything sent to insurance now and go from there.
