Is it true that I should not take these after surgery because of the absorption problems? Aren't they absorbed in the duodenum.....

Don't know what that is. Just an antibiotic? Isn't there a lot to learn about this surgery. Diane

Hi Michele, Your dr's would be the best resource as to what to take after surgery. Everything we take mediciation wise would have an absorption issue due to our bypasses. Everything will also affect us differently too. Good Luck and Call your dr who gave you the medicines. Jennifer
