Fructosamine test today...last hurdle (I hope)

Hope I spelled it right. I had my blood drawn today for this test. The PCP wanted to test everything but that although that was the sole reason I wanted the blood tests. We compromised, I get the fructosamine tests and he gets A1C, a complete metabolic panel, and a few other things. Ive been taking a lot of insulin, in order to get my blood sugar down. Im currently taking 40 units per day. Ive checked my blood sugar twice a day for almost 8 months now and this is the lowest it has been in that time. Ive had one reading of 110 so far and the rest have been 111 to 140 which for me is very good. Without the insulin, I could not eat anything at all for two days and it would still be almost 450. The results are supposed to be back by Monday or Tuesday. If my score is below 200 (or so I have heard, dont know for sure) I will be approved for surgery by my surgeon and I should get a surgery date by the end of the week. Wish me luck....

Good luck with this. I have no idea what that's all about, but with the new year aroudn the corner, you cannot miss out. you will have your surgery and 2007 will be your year of becoming a loser. Keep Us posted.
