New to message board - waiting game

Hello New to message boards. I have been reading and researching. I am working to the losers club. I am waiting to get a stress test and then the report can be sent to the clinic can send off the packet of info to the insurance company for the approval. Well I had surgery on the 6 to repair a torn cartilage in the shoulder. I have had to keep it immobile since then and of course now I cannot lift my arm over my head to get the nuclear stress test. The physician does not think I can my heart rate high enough to do the treatmill stress test. I have been so hoping to get the insurance approved and surgery scheduled in January. That I have disappointed myself because now I have to wait until my left arm is capable raising over my head. It is just aggravating since I have been working toward this for almost 3 years. I had atena and I was denied and now I have BCBS and I know they approve the surgery. I am just anxious. I know you all went through this anxiety of waiting, perhaps disappointment and waiting. It is just tiring me out. antoinette

BCBSNC approved my surgery the same day my surgeon's office requested approval. My first visit to the surgeon was in August of this year and the sugery was approved in December. So you may not have to wait much longer!!! Good luck!
