Usually the first weekend in December. 6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? Breakfast casserole, we have it Christmas morning for breakfast. 7. What was your favorite Holiday memory as a child? Blowing out all the candles my mother lit all over the house on Christmas eve. I got to do that as soon as the guests left. 8. Hey Cathy. I really miss having a live tree. We've had the fake ones for years now. They're easier, but not as pretty. Sounds like a lovely memory. We used to do the birthday cake for Jesus when the kids were smaller. Maybe I will do that again this year. Take care and Merry Christmas. ~Ellen

Hi Carly. I really like Christmas Vacation too, no need to be sorry. Our family meets on Christmas morning for breakfast as well. Unfortunately, we don't live close enough to them anymore, so we don't go. Now I make the same things they do at our house. We have Sausage and Cheese breakfast casserole and Monkey bread.
