Hi! I'm Susan! I am 32 (and a half...eek) and the mother of a 4 year old son. Been married for soon to be 7 years (Dec 31). I am almost 8 months post op and just yesterday hit my 100 pounds lost! Whoo-Hoo! I am only 2 pounds from goal, but may move it down a bit. I hair is still falling out in handfuls and it still worries me, but I'm not bald yet, so I am hopeful I won't be, lol. Welcome one and all! I started taking Biotin 2500 from GNC just before my surgery 14 months ago, at my hairdresser's suggesion. Then when I was about 4 months out, my hair started really drying out and falling out, and then I read on the OH board that some folks had good luck with zinc, so I went to GNC and got zinc 50 and started taking it and within 2 weeks, my hair was already looking tons better and now it is thicker, fuller, softer than it's ever been. Hi, I am in albemarle. I am 42 years young. I have 2 children. A son 20 and my daughter is 15..... I have been divorced for 8 years. And I am single as can be. And love it. I was married 18 years and caught him cheating on me. I am 16 months out of gbs. My weight today is 94lbs. My weight before gbs was 260 lbs. I need to gain back 26 lbs. I have a doctors appt. today. I have to go get weighed once a week. That sucks. It is 45 mins to my doctor. have a blessed day. Amy

Hey Melissa! My name is Carly and I am a 32 year old mother of 3 sons. I had WLS in January this year with Dr Bauman. He is great. I have lost 124 lbs since January. If you have any questions or need someone to talk to don't hesitate to email me. Do you ever go to the support group at the hospital? I went to the one on Nov 7th.
