Hey all ! how long does it usually take to have the surgery

Hi Amy, It took me two years to get my final approval. I had my surgery July 31,2006. Dr. Leo Davidson from Fayetteville is my doctor, I was at Cape Fear Hospital. I too was scared but let me tell you it is the best thing I have ever done for myself. I weighed in at 338 and yesterday (11/2/06) I weigh 267, that 71 pounds gone and I feel great. It should not take you as long as it did me for approval. My insurance company (Cigna) did not cover the process in the state of North Carolina, but through determination from my employer and myself we finally got it added back to our policy.
