I'm still around....

Hi everyone, I'm still kicking...I've been so busy here lately. Many good things going on. Sorry I haven't been able to post. I'm down to 160 lbs, feeling good about my weight loss and all. I've been having trouble after I eat with my tummy hurting, I haven't been able to eat much here lately, but still eating, sometimes I throw up, but not much. My nerves have been crazy here lately. I got a job promotion several weeks ago. I'm now over the whole plant. A lot of responsibility and work. So deep inside I feel that's the reason that I'm probally having trouble with my stomach. On the flip side, my sweetie Dale and I are getting really close to either moving in together or getting married. So that's a good thing going on too...Now for the news, I had a MRI today because of legg pain and numbness, they say I have no reflex movement in my ankle/heel area. They think I have some kind of disc or spine problem. So I'll find out about that in a week or so....But with all of this going on, I'm so happy and I feel so blessed. Most days I'm so happy that I could just hugg and kiss everyone. I smile all the time..I hope you all are as happy as I am. I just wanted to check back in and let you all know I'm doing well and I think of you all often...Look forward to seeing you at the next meeting..... and Sandi

Hi Sandi, So glad to see your post and so happy for you that things are going well. I just had surgery for a ruptured disk in my neck in September...definitely sympathize...it was horrible. Sounds like you are very happy in spite of that...I met Darrell in June and then one month laterstarted having pain from the disk problem and for the next six weeks was on pain killers and in a fog with the pain and then the surgery and recovery and withdrawals from the pain meds...but I was still so happy. Life is good after WLS for sure! Love, Jamey

I'm so happy to see your two smiling faces...but sad to hear you've both been in some pain. I haven't posted in a while, either...life is good! in fact, I'm sitting here wearing a size small 'Life Is Good' t-shirt that has a kayak on it...because last weekend I went kayaking...isn't this WLS wonderful??
