GASTONIA SUPPORT GROUP POLL...PLEASE RESPOND

Hello everyone, I hope this note finds you all well and happy. I wanted to touch base with you all and do a little poll. In the past we have been starting our meetings at 6:00pm, but I know this really pushes some people to get there and I feel like this may be one of the reasons our attendance has dropped. I can't believe that I am the first to reply! First please know that I won't be able to attend Gastonia for a while because of a youth group / parent support calling that I am answering, which requires a team meeting the first Monday of every month... AAArrrggghhh. Just part of "engaging", with which this surgery has blessed me. BUT.... I am coming from Charlotte, and the traffic on 85 is horrific, terrifying, gas-guzzling, wreck-fearful at the rush-hour. It has taken me an hour and 35 minutes to get from Little Rock to Exit 14... and that is usual! I don't know what the answer is.. a later start would help with the traffic, but gets us home so late... I have absolutely refused to attend a few months because I knew that traffic would be too terrible to get there in time. I miss ya'll too much already... Any ideas on alternative times, days, dates? frances

Hi Guys!!! I am so sad that I have missed the last few meetings. In the hospital twice on the meeting day and last month in the process of moving UGH!!! I am doing much much better and actually feel back to my normal self..well my normal self minus 95 lbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah for me!. Anyway, I am very determined to make to the next meeting and hopefully bring Michael too. It would be better for us if the time was just a little later. I can't wait to see everyone! Shannon

Hey Shannon, Wow! 95 lbs? That's amazing! I've lost 70 and I'm thrilled, but 95 is just amazing. Good for you. I can't wait to see the new you!!! We'll have a little unveiling party. Christie
