Had Surgery on 10/10!!!

Hello Everyone, Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who posts on this website, it has been a great help and sense of support prior to the surgery and I believe it will continue to be a great resource for me. I had the rouen-y on 10/10 and everything seems to be going well so far! I have been home for four days and working on getting the walking and protein, but admit it is a struggle. Again, just wanted to say thank you to everyone. Kel

Congrats. The hardest part is over with. Now, time will heal you. Just make sure you take care of yourself and take in your nurishment. Jennifer

Hi Kel, Hope you are feeling good. I am working on my preop and hope to get an appointment with MD in the next couple of weeks. Had started out with Dr. Malik and he stopped doing surgery so I have spoken with Dr. Enochs' office. Who was your surgeon? Good luck and take care. Angie

Hey Angie, My Surgeon was Dr. Fernando, also known as Dr. Fuzz. in Winston-Salem with Wake Forest Baptist. He is awesome. Like you I had started with another surgeon, but things did not work out so I had to find another surgeon. I am happy with this program and the staff is wonderful. I wish you the best of luck!! Kel

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am glad that you are doing well. I've got 9 days left till my big day. It seems so weird to be in single digits. I hope things continue to go well for you. Keep us updated.

Hi Kelli, Glad to hear it is over and you are doing good. Hang in there. From what I hear it will get easier. Don't know first hand yet but have an appointment with Dr. Enochs on the 25th. I am excited. Hope you continue to get stronger. You are in my prayers. Angie
