Great Gastonia Meeting...and 3 month update!

Hey folks! I just had to say THANKS to Jeff for a wonderful meeting last night! He was wonderful (and even came with SF banana pudding!) and his guest speaker, Dr. Stephens was just as wonderful. What an informative duo!!! Thanks a bunch to both of you. I didn't get to see a lot of people because they didnt make it to the meeting and I wanted to give a 3 month update. I saw Dr. Zweng on Friday and I am officially in ONEderland! Woohoo! As of Friday, I have lost 62 lbs total (53 from date of surgery). I was so excited that I almost cried. Unfortunately, Dr. Zweng then had to tell me that he is retiring from surgery to take a wonderful position doing something for all the Presbyterian hospitals in the area. So, now I am without a surgeon. Apparently I will be shuffled to Dr. Voellinger's office (spelling?) I'm sure he is a fine surgeon, but it won't be the same. That sure put a damper on the ONEderland celebration. Anyway, I just wanted to share/SHOUT the good news! Christie PS - I missed seeing Dot, Frances, Nancy, Shannon, and all the others! Hopefully we can all get together next month???
