A Pug Mom update
Hello All ,
I hope all is well with each and everyone of you.
The past couple weeks have been so hard, I lost my Momma , she passed away two weeks ago today, it was such a shock. My comfort is, she was ready to be with The Lord, and I know she is up there and happy
On a better note, I have lost 130 pounds since I have started this wonderful journey, and I have gone from a size 26 to 16 ( some 14's ) ... I feel great and would not have changed a thing. To anyone out there wondering if the surgery is for them ,,, DO IT
I have missed you all, and I am sorry I have not kept in touch, life has been so busy.
Love to you all,
Allison
Allison,
I am so sorry to hear about your mother. It has to be a comfort knowing that she was ready to be with the Lord. I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.
Congratulations on the weightloss. 130 pounds in less than 7 months is wonderful. I am almost 6 weeks post-op and have hit a stall, so that has been discouraging, but I hope it will pick up again soon.
Hugs!
Chris
I am so sorry to hear about your mother. My mother is having health problems right now that the Dr's cannot find a reason for. (She has lost over 60 pounds in a year. She is now a size 1) Funny I am having surgery to get rid of all this weight, and we are praying she will stop dropping weight. It has to be comforting to know that your mom is in the arms of our Lord and Savior. If your mother is like mine ( who always worries about my health due to my weight) it is a blessing that she lived to see you go through this journey with such success. I will say a prayer for you. I do not know what I would do if I lost my mother. She is my rock. Please keep on doing well with your weight loss. Don't let this sad time in your life derail you. She is still looking down from heaven watching your progress so make her smile. One day you will be together again.
Bless you
Tammy B.
Allison, I am so sorry about your mother. A dear old friend once told me, as we worked with so many as they lost their mothers, that you are always a child as long as your mother lives. How true those words are and how sorry I am that you have had "grow up" so soon. I dont know that at any age we are ever ready to lose them. Prayers of comfort and joy in the knowledge that you will be together again . Love Gail
Hi Pat,
Im kinda new to the forum and waiting on approval right now for surgery.
I am really nervous but know I need this more then anything right now in my life,
Im so so sorry to hear about your mom, You will be in my prayers for sure.
My mom is very unhealthy and having kidney problems which she is suppose to go to hospital to get one of them drained, Right now she is giving us a hard time because she wont go and get it taken care of. She keeps saying she is old and tired and doesnt care what happens anymore. It just breaks my heart to hear her talk like that, but their is nothing I can do and I feel so helpless.
Well, didnt mean to bring you down talking about my mom .
Just want to congratulate you on your weight loss. That is just awsome!
Keep up the good work and best of luck to you.
