Haven't Posted in a While
Just thought I would check in with you guys some....
It's been a while, I'm almost 4 months post op and doing really well. Down 76 lbs...woooohoooo. Its been quite a journey. All of my clothes are basically falling off now, I have given away so many....time to replenish, but wow how expensive is that?
I know there must be more Greenville area people out there... I just don't see that many posts from you guys. Just hoping everyone is doing well, and hope to see more posts from me in the future!
Need to get some pics posted I guess...I'll work on that.
Thanks for everyone's kind words and cards when I was going through the surgery that was really nice and I don't think I offically sent that out to everyone, the support and personal experiences everyone shares on here have been invaluable!
And if anyone out there is pre-op and will be having surgery at PCMH, keep in mind I am the Radiology person at the Pre-admission testing center so you might run into me there!
thanks again everyone!

Hi Robin. I am in the process of approval for surgery at PCMH with Dr. Chapman. I am in my last month of 6, if all goes well. I am looking forward to getting this ball rolling, the "hurry up and wait" is getting to me.
My husband works at PCMH as well. We moved here for his job about 6 months ago. We're really liking the area.
Glad to hear you're doing so well. Congratulations!

Well, nice to meet you Ellen!
I remember the hurry up and wait...its so frustrating....but worth it...keep that in mind! I'm glad to hear you guys are liking the area....I grew up in Beaufort county and my husband is a Pitt County guy.....so we have basically been around here all our life, except for a ten year hiatus in Chapel Hill for me.
Since you have been here 6 months you probably have the area pretty well figured out but if you need any help just let me know.... We are thinking about changing Churches......we have continued to go to one in Chocowinity, my home church ,but its about 25 minutes away. So we are visiting different ones in the area. So if you have any suggestions...let me know!
Look forward to hearing more from your journey! hang in there!

We have been all around looking for a church that suits our style preference without compromising our beliefs. Finally we settled on Covenant Methodist over on Firetower. We seem to prefer contemporary music and bigger churches that have more ministries to get involved in, and we have enjoyed the minister's messages. So there we are.
Take Care.
