Gastonia Support Group...I was in the hospital

Hi everyone. I am sooooooo sorry I miss the meeting again. I was back in the hospital with dry heaves and nausea. I came back home today but boy am I tired of all this time in the hospital. Dr. Lowe thinks this time was due to very low potassium (?sp) but I just wanted to tell all of you how much I miss being able to be at the meeting and have appreciated your thoughts and prayers. I'm so sorry you're having so many troubles, Shannon! I know you're ready to just get on with livng! I wasn't at the meeting either. I had promised a girlfriend (who is thinking of having WLS) that I would go with her to her surgeon's support meeting...unfortunately that was before I realized it was the same night as Gastonia's. I had totally forgotten about Labor Day and how that pushed Gastonia back a week. I will move heaven and earth to be there next month!!!

Hey Shannon! I am so sorry to hear you have been back in the hospital. You have really had a tough time and I have had you in my thoughts and prayers. Don't worry about the meeting being missed, just get better and work on trying to come in October...I was under the weather myself and had Rita Haas (thank you Rita) lead the meeting for me at the last meeting. We had a smaller group show up this month. I think everyone was busy wrapping up summer, vacations, and school starting. I hope to see you in October..keep us updated! Much love! Nancy

Hi Shannon, I am so sorry that you were back in the hospital. I am so sorry that you have gone through all of this. I missed you, Christie, Nancy and Larry at the meeting. Hopefully we can all be there next month. Are you feeling better. I hope you are on the quick road to recovery. Pat
