Protein Bars

Hey Guy's, Ok, poor planning on my part actually paid off today. I went to the nutritionist today and thought I had something in the car to eat on the way but No. Anyway, I told the truth at her office and said I had not eaten breakfast and she gave me a Revival Soy Protein bar...it is wonderful. It does not taste like vitamins or have a funny smell like some of the others do. It is low carb with 16 grams of protein and it is so big, I cannot eat the whole thing in one meal...2.5 ounces never seemed so big! The flavor she gave me is Autumn Apple Frost. if anyone knows of a local source to purchase them, please let me know! Have a great day!!!!, Melody

I didn't see the Revival Soy bars on the website...maybe I'm blind...there are some bars on there, but they have a lot of sugar/maltitol and that stuff makes me sick as a dog.

Sorry Pam! I thought they carried them in their estore, but I guess not. You can order the Revival Soy directly from the company (www.revivalsoy.com). The bar I have been eating lately is the Permalean Protein. It has 190 cals, 21g protein, 2 sugars (8 malititol). It doesn't bother me at all. I usually eat 1/2 a bar as a snack or a whole bar if it is a meal. They do sell these at southeastbariatrics.com, but I ordered mine directly from Permalean. gastonia is a little far for me... I should see if somebody from my area drives there and carpool instead

My absolute favorite is the power crunch bar. I really like the vanilla. It is like sugar wafers with icing. If I could afford it I would buy them all the time. Even my kids like them and DH. Joyce
