Any Raleigh people around?

I absolutely adore Dr. Naziri! My sis and I had surgery Dec 6, 05 and my brother had surgery also by him in Oct. of 04. We all have done great. My brother and sister have a few few issues that make them throw up still, but I have not thrown up at all. I do have a few foods that I just can't eat because they cause severe pain (chicken tenders, any fried foods, rice). We have had no complications. How is your sister doing? Joy

Hi Amanda, I just had my bypass on thursday Aug 31st. I am doing fine. I was released from Pitt County Hosp on Saturday. Chapman was my surgeon. I live in Nashville, NC..not far from Raleigh. I would love to find someone who would like to hit tennis balls or golf after I get well from surgery. I already workout at the Rocky Mount Y with weights and deep water aerobics. It would help to have some 'fun' activity in the evenings or on weekends with someone. Anyone interested? Freddy Nashville, NC

Hi Amanda - I live in N. Raleigh and will be having surgery with Dr. Enochs as well. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks. Hi In Raleigh. Lost 100 lbs in about 10 months. Went to Duke WLS. Great folks over there! I just adore them. There are several support groups in the area. Lemme know if you dont find one. Nia
