Any Raleigh people around?

Im new to the boards and gearing up for my surgery and wondering if there are any Raleigh or near folks on here!

Hi Amanda! I am in the Raleigh area too, and have my consult w/a surgeon in Charlotte (Dr. Voellinger) on 9/19. (I have chose to pursue VSG so that's why I am going out-of-town for the surgery). Who is your Dr.? Are you having RNY? I have to do a 6-month dr-supervised diet for my insurance, and I am only 3 months into it. ugh. Seems like forever! Hugs-Stefanie

Hi: I am also new to the area 'Cary area', I hope to get some infomation on doctors for filling and some WLS support groups in the area.

My Dr is Paul Enoch's which is based out of Cary and Louisburg, and I'm doing the LapBand Surgery. I have my last apt tomorrow for the pulminary, but have to go back to cardiac next week to check to see if my BP has gone down some.

hi joy I am from Pitt county and had my surgery In greenvilee oN june 1,2006. If you dont mind me asking when did you have your surgery and who did it.

I had my surgery on Dec 6, 2005 by Dr. Wade Naziri. My sister had it 2 hours after I did! I have lost 130 lbs. Congrats on your recent surgery! Joy

Hi! I live in Goldsboro, but work in Butner, NC. I am pre-op, but hoping to have my surgery in October by Dr. Wade Naziri. My sister just had surgery on August 14th and was very happy with him. Did you have any complications?
