Thanks for Prayers and concerns
I got to come home Monday afternoon. I actually could have come home on Sunday but my BP was 69 over 35 after walking down the hallway. I had a slight blockage due to scar tissue and an infected gall bladder. Dr. Lowe did an excellent job. I was shocked though when I went to ER and after waiting around for 5 or 6 hours. I had xrays, ct scan, and ultrasound. The ER Dr. comes into the ER room, that it took 6 hours for me to finally get into, and tells me my Pancreas is swollen and they are admitting me to put me on an IV. He returns 20 minutes later and tells me Dr. Lowe looked at the scan and felt that it was a hernia and that I had an intestinal blockage. I was told that Dr. Lowe was on his way and they were about to take me the operating room. I called my wife, since she has Rhuematoid Arthritis, I didn't want her waiting with me in the ER waiting room and being exposed to all kinds of illnesses. She had taken pain meds and called my parents to bring her to the hospital. I got down to OR prep and she hadn't arrived. Dr Lowe felt it best for me to go ahead with the surgery and had me almost on the operating table when the anesthieiologist decided he wanted an EKG before he put me under. It took long enough to get an EKG tech there to allow my wife and parents to arrive which I was thankful for. Things turned out marvelously. I was even riding the lawnmower today. I am still a little sore, but thankful for a Surgeon that cares for his Patients. I would recommend Dr. Lowe to anyone wanting a caring knowledgable Surgeon! Thanks again for your prayers!

Jeff,
I thought of you often over the last few days. Dr. Lowe has taken such good care of me since I have all this trouble with 3 intestinal blockages and I knew you were in good hands. He is a good Dr and a caring one. I just wanted you to know I said a prayer for you and thought of you several times. I hope to see you at our next support group meeting. I hope you get stronger and feel much better in the days to come.

Jeff, I am so sorry that you had these problems, but I am truly thankful that they were all taken care of by the Great Doctor Lowe!!!
I haven't been on here much lately, not even to lurk. I am sorry that I didn't know when you were sick.
I have started a new Home Based NetWork Business and it is keeping me busy right now.
I hope to see you next week at the meeting on the 11th.
Rita
