From your heaviest how much did you lose prior to having your surgery?

rm, i lost 18 lbs on my supervised diet before surgery. i did loose about 60 lbs back i***** and went from 239 to 179 but that wasnt my heaviest. my heaviest was 343 last sept. and when i went for surgery i was 325. adrienne

Hi, I lost about 20. 8 on my own and 12 more on the preop diet . My surge had no problem doing it lap and I weighed 432 the morning of surgery. Shellie

I don't know how much I lost. I weighed Aug. 25, 2005, and it was the highest weight that I know of. I went on a ten day liquid diet before my surgery on Sept. 13, 2005, but didn't weigh after that. My before weight was the weight I was on Aug. 25. I hope that makes sense! Nancy

I have so far lost 57 pounds. I am preop at the moment, but having to go through another 6 month supervised diet for a new insurance company, long story. Anyway, I lost the 57 last year, and have fluctuated 5-10 pounds each way since then with no significant weight loss since. But I have 3 more months to go, give or take, maybe I'll get with the program and lose more before my surgery. ~Ellen

I lost 11 lbs pre-surgury, probably because of the high protein diet my doc put me on 2 weeks before my surg date ( to help with liver shrinkage)...I'm now 14 months out, have been at goal for 5 months and lost a total of 126 lbs ( more than 1/2 of the former me)... Alesia
