Hello to all

I sincerely hope everyone is well. I really don't respond to much on this site but it's getting closer to my appointment with me surgeon. I am praying to have my wls at Pitt Memorial. Dr. MacDonald is my surgeon. I appreciate any advice you can give me to prepare me for this.

Hi Susan. I am in the process of trying to qualify for surgery with my insurance company. I am having it at PCMH too, my surgeon is Dr. Chapman. Is this your first appoinment with them? Have you done the WLS seminar that they make everyone go to? Neither of them are terribly difficult, just time consuming. Good luck with your appointment. Ellen

Hey Susan, Hope you are also doing well. I know you are getting nervous. I was!! The night before my surgery I had a calm come over me. I had prayed and prayed and prayed for some peace and He anwsered my prayer! I had surgery at Pitt Memorial. My surgeon was Dr. Wade Naziri. I think they are still in the same office. He done surgery on my best friend (dont every see her.been 2 yrs. My husband was in marine corps and hers had gotten out after his 4yrs. He ended up renlisting and got sent to NY) But let me tell you he is a great surgeon. I went with her to appointment. He was super nice and caring. LOL although I am partial to Dr. Naziri. HEHE only b/c he was my surgeon. Let me tell you , you are in good hands. His staff are all so nice.Gloria can be not so nice sometimes but she handles insurance(atleast when I had surgery 8/24/2004) But she is a sweet person. I LOVE Kary!!!!!!! (SP?)She is really sweet and anwsers any questions you have. I fell in love with everyone in the office. Even after I moved back near Wilmington I didnt mind the drive back to them. I need to go now. Havent been in almost 1 1/2 yrs! someone KICK ME IN THE BUT PLEASE Well anyway I hope your visit goes good. I'll keep you in my prayers!
