hey , Hope Everyone is doing well. I just started coming back onto obesityhelp. Ive been so terrible about getting online in the past yr. I'm back now and had to start a new account b/c its been so long since I got on I forgot all my info! I'm almost 2 yrs out . Had surgery Aug24,2004. Just wondering where everyone is from. Anyone in wilmington or close by? I used to live in Jacksonville. Married a guy that was in Marine Corps, but I am glad to be back home closer to my family. I have been married almost 4 yrs. My son turned 3 today and is growing like a weed. So tell me about yourself. I enjoy meeting new people ESPECIALLY those who have had surgery or are planning to b/c I meet people alot who think Gastric bypass is crazy to have and make rude comments because they dont have a clue what it all is about! So post back everyone, I'm looking foward to it. I know some allready and they have been so nice. Take care everyone and have a good night, TGIF! Hi...welcome back to the boards! it really helps me to stay in touch on the boards...I lurk mostly in the NC board, but fairly active in the September 2005 and the Over Fifty Forum. I live in Wilmington and I'm just over 11 months out...could not be healthier or happier...this surgery is a wonderful thing! I have 2 little grandsons...one is 27 months and the other is 1 month old today! I find that I don't even discuss how I lost the weight, unless someone specifically asks, and then I usually say, lots of hard work. If it's someone that's MO, then I will tell them how wonderful it is! Again, welcome...glad to see another OH'er that's close by..not many of us out here! Pam 5'2" 282/152/145

Hi, Glad your back. We need some people on here. I am Amy and today is my birthday. So I am now 42 years old. It is a shame it took me 42 years to get this body. I am a year out from my gbs. I live in albemarle n.c. I have a brother in Wilmington. I go see him when I can. It is so pretty there. My little town has nothing. And I mean nothing. We are just old country folks. I work for a health department in the Wic program. I have worked here for 15 years. I am at work now. lol Playing on the computer befor work. I have been divorced about 7 years now. was married 18 years and he cheated on me with his boss lady. So we split. Then I met this guy from charlotte fell in love and I be darn he cheated on me after 6 years. What is up with men????? I am good to them. Everyone tells me I am too good to them. I don't know. I guess things are made to be. Good things happen to those who wait. Well that's what I am doing. I have alot of faith in god. I know he will do good for me. Well I didn't mean to wright a book.
