Hi all, I have been very frustrated and a little apprehensive due to a bad hand injury and unable to work because I am a Sign Language Interpreter. So if I find that my hand cannot be brought back to normal, what are my options, anyone know? I will be moving down soon. Paula

I am an Occupational therapist and work with hand injuries quite a bit. What kind of injury do you have? Are you getting therapy? Belinda

Hi, I have a crush injury to the Median nerve. The muscle in my thumb that this nerve supplies is dead or flat. Surgery is the next step. However I have a carpal tunnel issue going with Workers Comp with my left wrist and my doctor feels the initial onset of symptoms in my right wrist ( surgery back in '93) is linked to the left. Anyway, I have to work all this out. Now, I am off work with a thumb splint and numbness and pain. Email me if you want more info. Paula
