Cabbage Soup Question-ANSWER ASAP

I am having WLS surgery on Tuesday. I have been doing the cabbage soup diet (with certain foods also). Do you know if it will effect anything if I puree it. It's much more pleasant for me to eat that way. My husband and friend think I shouldn't have done that. I figure it doesn't matter how I get it down, but I may be wrong. If so, I will eat the rest of it chopped. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

I had the same question a month ago. I had Dr. Classen. I couldn't eat the cabbage soup. It had too much acid in it for me. But, pureed it should have the same effect.

Do you not have to be on a liquid diet? I was on a liquid diet 2 weeks before surgery. I would not consider this "a liquid diet" if this is your question. I love the cabbage soup diet..........I sure miss it
