Support Groups?

Hi All, I live in Fort Mill, SC. I've tried to find a support group in SC but most are too far from me. Are there any support groups in the Charlotte area that I could attend? I'm about 2 months out and doing ok. My dh is great support for me, but I'd really like to meet and talk with others that have gone through wls.

Hi Cathy, There is a group that meets the 1st Tuesday of every month in the South side of Charlotte. They meet at the Earth Fare (grocery store) Community room. That is just off the Johnston Rd exit of 485. The meetings are at 6:30 pm. I don't know if this would be any better for your distance needs. I know that there are also some in Rock Hill.

We have a meeting the first Monday evening of each month in Gastonia, NC That's not too far away if you use Interstate 485 to get to Interstate 85 south. Rita 326/164/150

Presby Hosp uptown does its support group the 3rd monday of every month at 630
