GASTONIA SUPPPORT GROUP MEETING MONDAY AUG. 7TH 6PM

Hey everyone! Just wanted to remind you of our support meeting next Monday, on August 7th. The meeting will start at 6pm, with meet and greet time at 5:45pm. Our guest leader this month will be Carly Ford and she will be speaking on the ABC's of Bloodwork. Please let me know if you plan on attending. I know we have a good many birthday's and anniveraries this month and I need to know how many gifts to get and for whom. Anyone who has not attended our meetings before is more than welcome to attend. We have a good many people at different stages of their journey and I am sure someone else would really appreciate them. Hey Nancy, I will be there but my husband won't because football practice has started for our boys!!! Hey do I get to have 2 raffle tickets since I had to have surgery twice???? Haha just kidding. I can't wait to see everyone next week. Shannon

Hi Nancy and everyone else....it's been such a long time for me for the boards and the meetings but I'm hoping that I get to come to the August meeting. If nothing happens with work between now and then I will be there, and I'm hoping to bring my friend Kathy who came with me once before. She was considering the surgery then and overwhelmed with the support and kindness that everyone showed her. Her surgery is scheduled for August 21st!!! We're so excited for her and she is too, and nervous as well. Her daughter is not dealing well with the upcoming surgery and I think coming to a meeting and getting to see so many people who have had great success with the surgery will really help her. Can't wait to see everyone!!
