Need information on a Surgeon

I am currently assigned to Dr. Brady Way in Morehead City. Though I have read many glowing revues about him I am not completely comfortable with him or his office and staff. His bed side manner is just not at all what I am used to I had a procedure with him in preperation for my surgery and never saw him once before or after the procedure. I am also concerned that He deemed me as too young to need a pulminary or cardiac evaluation. I asked my PCM to do both regardless of the surgeons request and he found an abnormality on my ECG that he thinks may have been a Heart Attack. I have yet to see a Cardiologist to confirm this. It worries me however that a Surgeon who knew I had a family history of early aged heart problems was not concerned about this. I am in the process of trying to change surgeons and would like to stay as close to Jacksonville as I possibly can is there anyone who could suggest a surgeon other than Dr Way that I should look into. I am expecting a call back from the Refferal dept later today so that is why this is marked urgent. Thanks

I do NOT know your surgeon, but if you have ANY doubts whatsoever....RUN the other way! There are too many qualified, wonderful surgeons out there to settle for one that ou are no confident in. This is your health and your life...you have the right to be comfortable and safe. Joy

Try Dr. Chris Mann in Greenville - Excellent surgeon and affiliated with Pitt Memorial Hospital. He is very skilled and thorough. Good Luck !!!

I second Southern Surgical. I have heard great thing about Dr. Mann and I know from first hand experience how GREAT Dr. Naziri is! He operated on me, my brother, and my sister! We are all doing great! Joy
