I am writing from the hospital...ugh

Hi Guys, I woke up Thursday (my anniversery) with a very bad headache and nausea that I had had for several days. My DH brought me to Presby ER and they ended up admitting me. Dr. Lowe (who is wonderful!!!) said that he thinks I my have a small patch of scar tissue or it's just dehydration. I have 7 iv's and finnally had to get a pick line yesterday. Well, Dr. Lowe is going to just track my progress through the weekend and see if the scar tissue softens or he gets more fluids before he does anything else. I just wanted to to let you guys know. I feel much better but still not good. Shannon

Shannon,I was at CMC last weekend.......we keep Charlotte hospitals so busy don't we.I was Dehydrated and have an Ulcer.I still vomitted some this week but not like before.I just cant't eat alot and I guess that is the good part.I don't get more than 500 cal a day.70P and 48 Water or Crystal light or tea.I am sore still from the surgery.I am healing little by little.They won't clear me to return to wor****ill the 7th of August.I will be happy but wonder a bout what to bring to eat.It iwll be a major endevor until I get used to it.....Ihave lost 26 lbs and 31 before surgery and 20 " after surgery.My clothes are loose and my boyfriend Steve buys me new clothes every 2 weeks or so.I just mailed alot to two other women on OH.It made me feel good to help them out andthere were good clothes.....Its pouring out now.Did you get some?
