Removing gallbladder with surgery? Anyone else?

Hi everyone! I'm having surgery on 7/24!! I was told just last week that they will be removing my gallbladder when they do surgery because I have several gallstones...anyone else out there have the same? Please share if you have.. Thanks, Hope

Me too... Surgey to be July 27 and I will have the gallbladder removed because they found stones...so while there there , they might as well save you a surgery and do it all at once! Shellie

Hope, You won't miss the gallbladder. I had mine out 2 years ago and the recovery was a little longer then my RNY. Heck, doing it with the RNY will make it much easier. Everything in 1 swoop. I wish I had RNY back then. Good Luck everything will be fine. Jennifer
