Hello! I'm in Greensboro, NC. I had surgery almost 5 months ago and I still haven't gotten a bypass buddy and my nutritionist says it'd be helpful. I know of a few people that have had the surgery but I've not kept in touch with them and wondered if there is anyone out there in NC that is needing a support person like I am. I would be willing to give out my email so we could keep in touch and be a shoulder to lean on when we need it.

Hello All Well I am calling in support today! I am now 5 months post op and have lost 95 pounds. I am really in a panic though because I am sure I can eat way more than I should be able to! I ate a huge breakfast this morning (in my opinion)--one and a half scrambled eggs, two small pieces of bacon and a spoonfool of potatoes. I felt like that was a ton! I ate almost a whole piece of pizza last night too. I don't measure my food but I'm feeling pretty sure that I'm eating more than I should. I am losing about 2 pounds a week consistently but I'm also crediting that to all the exercise. I feel like I've gone through so much and done so much to change my life and get "skinny" that I am terrified it will all come back! I also am scared of stretching my pouch! I feel like when I read others postings I can eat an amount of food that is double what most eat. I don't know... I'm just having a moment of breakdown!
