final step complete before approval

Hi everyone, I haven't been able to keep up with the board lately because work has sucked up all of my time. After about 2 months of nothing, suddenly I'm working 16 hour days. Anyway, I just wanted to share that I went for my "final decision" appointment with Dr. Pender at ECU SOM today, and he said we were a go to seek approval. Still thinks I'm a good candidate for laproscopic (sp.) surgery. The approval person talked with me for a while, too, and said that she couldn't see any reason why I wouldn't be approved. Also told me that BCBS usually takes its sweet time, so I probably won't hear anything til August. If all goes well, my date should be in late August/early September. I'm very excited about things...it's almost a reality. Thanks for "listening"! Take care! Lisa
