Consultation tomorrow

I have been researching WLS for a while and debating if this is the right decision. I finally made a decision so I called Dr. Malik's office to schedule a consult and she said how soon do you want to come. I told her as soon as I could and she said can you come tomorrow at 9:15. I said wow that was quick. So here I go. A little nervous but excited. Can anyone tell me about Dr. Malik? I have read the posts about him and it seems that everyone likes him. Any advise? Thanks.

hi angie, my name is adrienne and dr. malik is my doctor. there are 2 words to describe him. THE BEST!! he is so wonderful. his staff is the best too. where is your consult going to be? in rocky mount? or cary? jennifer, his nurse, is such a wonderful person. she can answer just about anything you ask her whether its about the surgery or where to find a blender in target. dr. maliks office is very quick with the process but very thorough. when i went in for my first appt. i left with blood work already drawn and an appt for an upper gi and phych. eval., and ekg. i had surgery on march 13th and left the hospital the next day. i was as good as new by the following monday. i know everyone is different but you can ask any of his other patients and they will probably say the same thing about him. the hospital stay was wonderful. you get your own private nurse and she will massage your feet if you asked. lol. i just think the overall experience with dr. malik was exceptional and wouldnt have done it any other way. i hope this calms your nerves a little
