Dr. B told me to up my minutes of exercise...Yeah I know I am not getting what I am suppose to be, I need to get the right amount of fluids and proteins.. Head Hunger....It's rough!!! I've lost 17.4 lbs Yay Okay let me say it again HEAD HUNGER next I am on pureed and I am day dreaming about some of the things that Roberta S has on her page of pureed foods..

Your doing Great G - I found myself exhausted and exilerated at 1 week post op. Getting in the protein is difficult at first. It seems like your always drinking and drinking. Did you go with the fobi pouch? I went with regular RNY because I didn't want to have the fobi band and have things get stuck. Your weight loss is awsome and the head hunger is normal too. I still have it at 4 months post op. The hardest thing I found was returning to work and seeing food everywhere. It drove me nuts. I had 15 days off before I returned to work. Good Luck and your doing great.

Hi Jennifer Yes I went with the fobi. Thankfully I am in a office by myself so I don't have to see the food. I am back to work full time now. We will see how it goes. What is your weight loss now? Glenda

Hi G, The first two weeks post op are the hardest, so congrats on making it through the first week. I was at Dr. B's office this morning too. I wonder if we saw each other & didn't know it (I had the precoscious 3 yr old with me). Well, keep up the good work! Roberta

I was at Dr. B's office at around 1050am. There was only one guy in the waiting room and I think he was there to see the nuts. Thank you Roberta and I can't wait to try the ff refried beans with ff sour cream and salsa pureed. Roberta, you and your husband have done a fabulous job with yalls weight loss. You do not look like the same person.

Hi, you might want to buy the canned refried beans at the grocery store. That way you can get the Fat free kind. They have both refried black beans and kidney beans. I think that the restaurants usually make the refried beans with lard . Good luck with your journey. Roberta

Hi Dee As Roberta said below the best place to get the fat free kind is at the grocery store, usually near the taco shells. I've went back to work but I have a desk job, (sit on my butt). If there is any lifting that I can't do I can call someone to do it for me, but usually I don't lift over 10 pds. You should enjoy the time off and relax. How are you doing weight wise? Now when someone does a post on how much has NC lost I can post. have a good day and good luck on your continue success. G.
