I miss North Carolina

Dear Carolinians, I miss North Carolina soo much. Yes it is nice to be home and closer to family but we still consider the Asheville area home. After almost 10 years, i guess we should. We were quite fearful of the winter again but we actually had a fairly good one. I cried when my girlfriend told me my cherry trees were in bloom in my yard in Candler and I was here with the furnace at full blast. I may be originally from Newfoundland but people at work always say "you know, the nurse from NC", I take that as a compliment. I am having my consult for my lapband in Toronto next month. I sure wish I had started this earlier and had it completed before I left. I wish you all the best of luck in your WL journies. We will be back next summer for a quick visit.
