Help in Asheville area?

Does anyone know of resources in WNC? Surgeons to suggest etc... Thanks.

Hey Kala, I don't know of anyone who has used a doctor in the Hendersonvile/Asheville area. A friend of mine from Rosman went to Greenville SC for her surgery and I know a lot of people come down to Hickory and I would also say that the doctors in Charlotte and Concord are wonderful and the drive would not be too bad. Helpis nearby. Rated as one of the better programs is Wesley Long Hospital in Greensboro. Excellent staff and surgeons on the cutting edge of any new techniques in bariatric surgery. Im sure if you check out their website you can get more information. Good luck, I am starting the process myself

Mission Hospital has started their program up. Dr. Allan Bradshaw does RNY and lapband. Excellent program. I use to work there and I just returned to Canada. Call the hospital main number and ask for the bariatric program - they will schedule you for an information meeting. They are at the asheville cardiology building. Good luck. Boy do I miss North Carolina. Might have to do some travel nursing when the kids get a little older just so I can come back. I sure miss my friends there too. Beverly
