New to NC

HI everyone! I am not new, but new to NC. I currently live in NY and am relocating to Fayetteville within the next few months. Anyone out there from that area? I would love to get as much info as possible in terms of the area, which parts are better for housing, schools, ect. Also, I will have to transfer over for my surgical care. I had surgery November 2004 and have lost 170 pounds!!! I feel great but want to make sure I still am doing appropriate follow up. I can't wait to get to know the NC board!!!! Janet

H Janet, I live in Dunn, NC which is about 30 to 35 minutes from Fayetteville. My surgeon is in Fayetteville, Dr. Classen. I will be happy to answer any questions you might have or if I don't know the answer I will try to find out for you. Welcome to NC Connie
