Post Op - Calcium with Vitamin D Supplements
I am looking to see if anyone know's of a pill version of this that is soft or easily digestable. The one's I saw are either as big as a saucer or thumb.
If you know please let me know, I am going calcium shopping tomorrow.
How exciting is that. I purchased some today and they were way too henious for me.
Jennifer
Jennifer, I use the chewable calcium that Diane recommends. I use the Walmart brand (Spring Valley, I think its called) the walmart brand is the same as Viactiv but cheaper! I use two twice per day right after breakfast and right after dinner, I stepped up my calcium 'cause my bone density is a little low and hopefully my endocrinologist thinks this will help. I get the caramel flavor, they also have chocolate and to me its like a little candy treat after my meal. They are delicious. And like I said, Diane told me these were fine and recommended them so I know they're OK to use.
Lynne
Hey Jennifer!
I was going to suggest the same thing that Lynn did. I have taken these in the past before I could swallow larger pills and they are a real treat!
If you purchased Calcium Citrate and can not use it and you are able to come to the April support meeting just bring it and I am sure someone will be glad to buy it from you!
Hope to see you there...stop being shy!

Thanks Nancy,
I'm not shy, but I'm not very comfortable with where I'm at. I know all you there are to support us.
Mondays can be tough, but we'll see when the next meeting falls.
I have some clothes too - I have 22 jeans that are brand new and a few other things. I could bring them to the meeting if I make it. I'm already down 30 pounds. My goal is 100lbs, so it's moving right along.
