nectar protein mix

hello friends, i just tried the fuzzy navel nectar protein shake, and i had to post and tell you all how i liked it. i heard so many great things about it but this is the first time i tried it. its nasty..lol.. maybe for some its good and i tolerated it but its not something i will buy on a regular basis. well thats all i wanted to say. except i feel so good, i have lots of energy no pain and some of my insisions are starting to itch. its been 5 days and i feel a lot like i did before surgery. so everything is a-okay. i want to get out and go to a mall and walk or walmart or something but my fiance is out of town driving long distance after a wonderful 5 days off and im not supposed to drive. i feel real good though so i have mixed feelings about it. im bored. but im not choosing food so thats a good thing. adrienne

Adrienne, I'll be 1 month post op on Wednesday. I can say I never felt better. After surgery I was like, I just had surgery? Yes, I had staples and now nasty little scars, but I felt and still feel amazing. Going back to work this week has helped, hence, I am getting back into a routine, Which i need desperatly. During my breif abscence from work I was watching movies really late into the night. I also bough alot of magazines. Food was driving me crazy. The not eating part. I also have a game boy which I use alot now that I'm passing time. I find I have more time at certain points then I did in the past. From dinner to bedtime just flys by now. I just gotta figure out my gym time after work so I can still see my daughter before she goes to bed. I hope you say positive. I couldn't do walmart post op - it was too much for me, our walmart is huge. I did go to target a couple times though. I told you had to get those magazines.

Hi hon,,, Glad to see you are ready to go. Thats always a good thing and it makes me feel good to since I will be having mine before I know it. I was worried about the time down and in a way I still am because I am so hardheaded lol Keeping me down is going to be a job but anyhow I will TTYL and keep on keeping on hon thats whats its all about...

I mixed mine with a vanilla atkins shake and frozen peaches and it was good. but my taste is differednt and One of the last things I had preop was Matrix hot chocolate...It was great. So.....bought a 5 lb bag yeah , I know. well to make a long stroy short ....made myself a cup Friday, sipping and gagging. thought i was going to die. I could smell it in the car OMG. It has been put to the bottom of the cupboard and hopefully will taste good again...$30 Glad youre well take care, Gail
