Home from Surgery Everything Going Well

Good morning my OH family...I just wanted to let you all know that my surgery went flawless and I was able to come home yesterday after only 2 days.... To God be the glory!! I just want to thank you all for your words of support....thank you Roberta for calling and checking on me, it meant so much... Also I just want to say that Dr. Melkonian is FANTASTIC and thanks to the staff at Presbyterian Hospital who were so incredible....special thanks to my nurses Jill, Katie, Pat (thanks for watching over me), Ashley and Mitsy (thanks for being so gentle taking out my drain ladies). I am now 3 days post op and at home trying to get into my schedule of vitamins, drinking all my needed fluids and walking....well I will update again a little later but thanks again to all of you for your prayers of support...... PS a special thanks to my and best friend Jennifer who stayed with me the entire time at the hospital and who is taking care of my for the next 2 weeks...God couldn't have blessed me with a better Friend thank you.....

Trina, I am so happy you are home and things are going well. I glad you an an uneventful surgery and are not on the losing side!!! Congrats!!! I hope you have a speedy recovery!! Shannon

Welcome home Trina! It sounds like you and I had the same nurses. I was at Presby, too. My surgery was the day before yours. I agree...they were GREAT! Too bad we didn't get to walk the halls together! Best of luck! Susan
