PLEASE DON'T LET THIS BOARD DIE
Seems like there were tons of post-ops posting when I joined back in February, but everyone has just disappeared...maybe it is cyclical? I miss everyone putting in their support and advice. Several people have posted begging those by name who used to post to come back and no one has reappeared. It is sad
Hi Amy and Jamey,
I agree, I don't know what is going on, unless it is just everyone is busy with spring
or something. I really miss everyone posting and knowing how everyone is doing as well as being selfish and wanting their advice.
Let's just try to keep it going. Jamey, maybe you are right and it is cyclical. I hope so.

Hi Perry
So good to see you post. I haven't heard from you in a while. How are you? I REALLY want the NC board to continue, I met some wonderful people here. I have a hard time w/ meat sometimes, sometimes it's fine. Can't eat fish or chicken. TERRIBLE pain until they come back up. Beef does ok, which is the exact opposit of what the dr told me to do. He said eat seafood and chicken, but heh, I have to eat what will stay and not hurt. Email me when you get a chance and lest catch up. So good to see you on the board
Diane
Hi Perry,
Have you tried like thin sliced deli turkey. I am a little over 10 months out and that is about the only kind of meat I can eat. I don't touch red meats now at all. I don't even remember why I loved them so good. My taste has change 100%. Things I would not touch I crave them now. Like peas who in gods world thought I would like peas. That is so strange to me. Well have a good day and god bless each of you. I thank god for you.
Amy
Hi NC, haven't been on the site probably since February due to dealing with the disappointment of deciding to have surgery then being told my insurance wouldn't pay for it. Well my prayers and desires may yet come to pass!!!!! Hubby just got a job that has Blue Cross Blue Shield and I am praying his employer has not opted to exclude bariactric surgery, but I will not know until he has been on the job for 60 days... please let this be my door opening, as I have sunk into deeper depression as a result of weight and not being able to have surgery...but I'm believing this is meant for me and will happen, so those that read this please believe with me
